Have you ever went to a spot and didn’t like what the DJ was playing so you requested new music? We all have, but in this case, gym owner Vijay Deep got his life taken from him because of it.
Sunday night, Vijay, his business partner Puneet Bhatia and a few others friends were celebrating a friend’s birthday, and according to the Bhatia they weren’t feeling the music. “… The DJ was playing songs we did not like, so we repeatedly requested him to play some Punjabi songs,” said Bhatia.
According to multiple sites, it looks to be two different stories going around. The first story is (allegedly) things seemed to turn left when Vijay tried to physically change the song on the DJ’s laptop. Things got escalated and he threw the DJs laptop. The second story is, a friend within the group tried to physically change the song on the DJs laptop, they into a scuffle, bouncers intervened and that’s when Vijay intervened and got stabbed.
The ‘Raftaar’ bar & lounge DJ, DJ Deepak ran to the kitchen in both stories, grabbed a knife and stabbed the 28 year old business owner in the stomach. He was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately he didn’t make it.
The DJ was arrested a few hours later.
Question: First, what story do you believe? And what are your thoughts about the situation?
