DILLON FRANCIS ANNOUNCES RELEASE DATE & ALBUM TITLE; REVEALS NEW SINGLE ‘NEVER LET YOU GO’ [VIDEO]
After announcing that he’ll be working on a Spanish language album months ago, Dillon Francis finally reveals the release date and the name of the album. On Friday, September 28th from his own label IDGAFOS, the fans will be able to hear Wut Wut.
With the release date and title of the highly anticipated album, Dillon gives us the new single and music video “Never Let You Go” featuring New York City singer De La Ghetto. “The whole thing started from the Westside EP in 2011,” Francis said in a press release. “I had just discovered moombahton and began experimenting with Latin styles. For my second album, I wanted to create one cohesive vision, since I now have a better understanding about what that means. Latin music is very close to my heart, and I knew this would be fun. I was trying to go back to the super-duper roots of where I came from. I feel like I could’ve put this out right after the EP, but I’m glad I did it now because of everything I’ve learned and the people I’ve met.”
When speaking about De La Ghetto he says “He fully understood the goals I had for this album,” Francis is quoted in the video’s description, “and it was incredible to have an artist at his caliber vibing to my music.” It’s a melodic pop tune with big, ’80s drums..”
