Charlie Walk, Republic Records president and co-judge of the new hit FOX singing show ‘The Four: Battle for Stardom‘ has been placed on leave from Republic Records and fired from the show due to the recent allegations of him groping a colleague (Tristan Coopersmith) when he previously worked at Sony Records.
Coopersmith penned a letter titled “#MeToo: An Open Letter To Charlie Walk“.
She starts off expressing her feelings of how she felt when Charlie chose her to work for him, how he introduced her to other music moguls such as Lyor Cohen and Russell Simmons, then went on to say “But you also made me feel sick to my stomach almost everyday”, and then went on to describe her experience with Charlie. Charlie was a judge along side hip hop and pop superstars such as Sean “Diddy” Combs, Meghan Trainor, and DJ Khaled.
