DJ Quik has been in the media a lot lately. First it was comments about Kanye West and asking him to get his bars up because he’s not a fan of his new style of rapping. Now, he’s talking about his newest EP ready to release with Compton MC, Problem.
The veteran West Coast legend has certainty made a late career come back. In 2009 he teamed up with Kurupt another California affiliate for a collaboration EP called ‘Blaqkout’. In 2011 he released a solo album titled ‘The Book of David’ and two years ago in 2014 he came out with “Midnight life”.
Now Problem and DJ Quik are planning a new tape and they are super hyped about releasing this work of art. You can expect the Rosecrans EP to be adventurous, fun and full of hard core west coast raps. The two sat down with Rolling Stones and spoke about their new tape along with a few other topics like their memories of Prince.
