Now, wedding parties are a huge business for the DJ’d, but it’s absolutely CRUCIAL that you use wedding terminology correctly.
We took the liberty in showing you the difference between a wedding party, bridal party, groomsmen party, and bachelors/bachelorette parties.
1. Bridal Party (members):
The flower girl(s)
The junior bridesmaids
The bride’s parents and grandparents
2. Groomsmen Party (members):
The ring bearer(s)
The junior groomsmen
The groom’s parents and grandparents
3. The Wedding Party (members):
The bride and the groom
The bridesmaids and the groomsmen
The flower girl(s) and the ring bearer(s)
The junior bridesmaids and groomsmen
The parents and grandparents of both the groom and the bride
4. The Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties (members):
The bride/grooms closest friends
Outside entertainers (interpret that as you wish)
So DJ’s, please know your demographic when it comes to weddings. The Groomsmen Party is NOT the same as the Bachelor party.
