Legendary NY Radio DJ from Long Island Dan Ingram passes away at age 83.
Radio Hall of Fame inductee, Dan Ingram is considered to be the Top 40 DJs in the world, being that he was in the business for five decades starting out in New York and Connecticut before leaving to Dallas and St. Louis.
All Access Music Group says, “Ingram was the master of the ‘talk-up,’ speaking over the introduction and finishing his thoughts at the exact moment the lyrics started.” and Ken Foote director of programming at CBS DFW says “One of the funniest DJs ever,” and “Best known for his quick wit, fast pace, and ability to ‘talk up’ or pre-sell a song so that you didn’t tune out. Great satire as well.”
Reasons on how he passed away is unknown.
