The Fleet DJ Conference
The Fleet DJs is more than just a typical DJ crew. It is a solid network, brand, and family. The Fleet, as it has become known, not only set the trends in the music, fashion, and lifestyle industries, but has sparked the movement of the next generation of DJ crews across the globe.
In 2001, The Fleet DJs was created by the founder and CEO, Klassik, in Newark, New Jersey from a company called WWACN (Worldwide Alpha Communication Network), which was a radio network that included DJs such as DJ Delz, DJ 2 Mello, and DJ Shure Shot. The origins of the name of the Fleet DJs came from a rap group that Klassik used to produce for called Kompazz Fleet. He took the Fleet off of the name and they became the Fleet DJs.
As of today, the Fleet DJs have a syndicated radio show called the Fleet Files, over 250 plus DJs, 10 Fleet Models, 5 Fleet Producers, 6 Fleet Artists, and 5 fleet photographers. They also have many different websites. Among those websites are www.fleetdjs.com , www.mixtapeheat.net , www.straightofficial.com, and now www.breakingtracks.com.
The sixth annual Fleet DJ Conference took place in Raleigh, N.C. on July 20th-July 23rd, 2017. The Fleet DJs consist of over 260 DJs from all over the world who are constantly producing mixtapes featuring major artists and independent artists. The organization also uses a variation of tools to promote artists using all aspects of the Fleet Network.
