YOUNG MAN DIES IN MEDICAL TENT AT FESTIVAL, FATHER IS NOW SUING ‘ELECTRIC DAISY CARNIVAL’!!
Back in 2015, Electric Daisy Carnival attendee Nicholas Tom passed away after digesting popular rave drug, ecstasy, during the concert in 110 degree heat. He ended up having a seizure and started to foam at the mouth.
According to TMZ, Terry Tom (Nicholas father) says good Samaritans helped Nicolas in the process but carrying him to the events medical tent, taking more than 30 minutes. Terry claims that the volunteer medical staff, had no experience, and was ill prepared with not enough help on hand, which he feels caused his son to die on the floor of the medical tent.
Tom is suing not only Electric Daisy Carnival founding company Insomniac but also Live Nation, for wrongful death and negligence.
The organization is well aware of the concertgoers taking drugs but it’s very clear that they cannot keep track of over 135K attendees each day.
Ironically, this past weekend one man died but EDC released a statement saying the cause is ‘unknown’.
